The Downtown Renfrew BIA brings you the Dog Days of Summer, a special sales event along Raglan Street in Renfrew on Friday and Saturday. Enjoy a special day of shopping and dining, sampling, a barbecue, and a pet palooza and dog show outside Town Hall on Saturday
The City of Pembroke presents Busker Fest at the Pembroke Amphitheatre from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9 and in Downtown Pembroke from 11-6 on Saturday, Aug. 10. Enjoy circus-style performances, a kid zone, plenty of good food to enjoy, sidewalk sales, and vendors both days!
The Calabogie Market returns to the Calabogie Community Hall this Saturday from 10 to 1. Enjoy a number of vendors, sample some great food, and stick around for live music from Kentucky!
Geckos, snakes and invertebrates, oh my! Find those and more at the Ottawa Valley Reptile and Plant Expo this Sunday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Renfrew Armouries. Breeders, vendors, hobbyists and those who are curious will have an opportunity to bring supplies, new animals, show off what they have, what they could be having, talk about projects and more.

Renfrew Minor Hockey is now accepting registration for the inaugural season of their Under-21 Division. Registration can be done online.
Renfrew Prep Basketball is looking for billet families to take in high school athletes for the upcoming school year. Participating families qualify for monthly compensation to help pay for the student. Email them at contact@renfrewprep.com to learn more and start the process.
