There have been plenty of opportunities for summer fun in Renfrew and area lately and our furry friends have not been left out with a special event happening this Sunday at Ma-te-Way Park.
Valley Pet Tails Grooming is hosting the inaugural Pet Fest and owner Caroline Sullivan is excited to offer the event to the community.
Pet Fest will be held in the grassy area between the dog park and the ball diamonds and Sullivan said she’s been hearing positive comments from those interested in attending.
Along with a chance to shop from several local pet-related vendors, Pet Fest will be an opportunity to learn more about local help for animals.
The weather forecast so far looks great for Sunday and Sullivan hopes to see plenty of people attend the event, which she is hoping to make an annual thing.
Pet Fest runs this Sunday, July 28 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Ma-te-Way Park.
