After a long weekend off, construction crews working on county roads head back to work.
The County of Renfrew’s Public Works Department is warning residents and commuters going through Horton that they will begin work on River Road from Captain Christopher Bell Bridge to 200 meters west of the Algonquin Trail on July 2nd.
Crews will also be in McNab/Braeside to start their rehabilitation on the section of River Road between Dochart Street and Poole Street.
Both roads will remain open to traffic during construction but will be reduced to one late at times until their completion at the end of August.
Commuters are asked to obey posted signage and traffic controllers in the area during the project.
