June is Jumpstart Month, and Renfrew’s Canadian Tire is ready to celebrate.
Owner and Dealer Chad Murray says their effort to raise money to help local families overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and play is all building up to a big event happening at the end of the week.
Murray says the promotion is part of their broader fundraising effort that has drawn in donations through the month of June to help cover registration, transportation, and equipment for local kids in need wanting to take part in organized sports.
He says the impact can be felt through programs they run with organizations like the Renfrew Minor Hockey Association.
Locals and visitors are welcome to drop by Renfrew’s Canadian Tire starting just after 11:00 a.m. on Friday for what Murray is promising to be an afternoon of good food.
Keep in mind that construction is happening at the O’Brien Road intersection with Wrangler Road and Innovation Drive, which could cause minor traffic delays outside the store.
Make sure to follow the posted signage and traffic control on duty while entering and exiting the area.
