A large construction project running through the middle of Renfrew is getting closer to completion.
A complete overhaul of Argyle Street continues to crawl towards completion, causing the road to be closed to traffic during daytime hours between Renfrew Avenue West and Opeongo Road.
It’s part of the second half of a major road rehabilitation of a number of downtown roads, which will include the replacement of watermains, asphalt, and sidewalks.
The town has set up a detour for commuters along Renfrew Avenue and Lochiel Street. Questions and concerns can be sent to the Town of Renfrew’s Engineering Services at 613-432-4848.
