Hydro One is reporting a power outage just outside of Renfrew that has affected our broadcasting plans for this morning.
The power company says nearly 700 customers have been affected from the outskirts of town along Cotieville up to Garden of Eden and Haley Station after a pole fire earlier today.
Another 685 customers ranging from Douglas, Admaston, and Bromley, as far west as the Bonnechere Caves, and as far south as Balaclava are also without power.
96.1 myFM might go off the air at times due to the outage, but we are still available to listen to online at RenfrewToday.ca.
Crews are assessing the issue and expect to have the power restored to the area at around 9 a.m.
