Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town in the next 48 hours.
Celebrate Pride this weekend with the Town of Renfrew and Renfrew Pride! The town’s Colour Run takes off from Ma-te-Way Park up the Millennium Trail on Saturday morning at 10:30. Registration is $30 at the starting line, and the town reminds you to wear white and bring both protective eyewear and something to cover your mouth.
The Colour Run will wrap up at Low Square just in time for the start Renfrew Pride’s annual Pride Picnic, which will welcome in the community to meet up outside of Town Hall from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a free barbecue, face painting, fun and games, and live music with local artist Aerik Watson. Rain date for the picnic is June 15.
The Proulx family welcomes you to the return of heavy horse pulling in the Dacre area this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the inaugural Proulx Pull. A fun full day of horse pulling, pony pulling and kids pulling at the Dacre and Area Community Association, 111 Flat Rd. Excitement for everyone.
Country Dance fundraiser for Renfrew and Area Seniors Home Support on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2-6 p.m. Entertainment by Dennis Harrington and Heritage Country, $10/person at the door.
