The Eganville Farmers Market kicks off its season Friday June 7th! Find the freshest food and most unique art from local farmers and artisans! The Fred Eaglesmith Show comes to Pembroke on Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Germania Club (15 Bennett Street, Pembroke). Advance tickets are $50 and are available now through Ticketscene.ca. Doors open at 7 pm, and the show starts at 7:30 pm. Perhaps best known for his single “Trucker Speed,” Eaglesmith has toured towns and cities across the continent, singing about vehicles, rural life, down-and-out characters, lost love, and quirky rural folk.
Celebrate Pride this weekend with the Town of Renfrew and Renfrew Pride! The Town’s Colour Run takes off from Ma-te-Way Park up the Millennium Trail on Saturday morning at 10:30. Registration is $30 at the starting line, and the town reminds you to wear white and bring both protective eyewear and something to cover your mouth.
The Colour Run will wrap up at Low Square just in time for the the start Renfrew Pride’s annual Pride Picnic, which will welcome in the community to meet up outside of Town Hall from 10:00 am to 3:00 for a free barbeque, face painting, fun and games, and live music with local artist Aerik Watson.
The Proulx Family welcome you to the return of heavy horse pulling in the Dacre area this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the first annual Proulx Pull! A fun full day of horse pulling, pony pulling and kids pulling at the Dacre and Area Community Association, 111 Flat Road! Excitement for everyone.

The Renfrew Minor Hockey Association is accepting applications for the 2024-2025 upcoming season. We will be looking for U11, U13 and U18 Rep B coaches. Applications are to be completed and emailed to vice.president@renfrewminorhockey.ca
