Thank you to everyone who made the myFM 55+ Show over the weekend a notable success!
Attendance for the second annual event doubled over last year despite great weekend weather and construction outside the Renfrew Wing, according to show coordinator Aline Stukart.
The two-day event, which brought in various local businesses and groups aimed at improving older lifestyles in the Ottawa Valley, was a revelation for many of the people who dropped in.
Stukart says that year three is already in planning as her team continues to use visitor feedback to make the show even better.
Not many details have been revealed about next year’s 55+ Show, but Stukart says a few changes to help people access the event have already been decided on.
Stukart also thanks the vendors and visitors for their interest in the show, as people aged 55 and over make up the majority of people living in Renfrew County.
