Renfrew residents have been asking town officials about outdated décor lining the downtown core.
The Downtown Renfrew BIA confirms that unforeseen circumstances have kept them from switching out the festive winter banners hanging from the main street’s lampposts for something more in-season.
Jason Legris, Town Council’s representative on the BIA’s board, explains the situation.
He adds that other features are also in the works to make downtown a little more pretty for the summer season.
The incoming banners feature the town’s new branding, including the new logo and colourway. The BIA says work to put them up will begin next week.
