A 27-year-old Renfrew driver faces multiple charges, including failing to remain, following a single-vehicle collision on Kartuzy Road near Arrow Road in Madawaska Valley on May 6, 2024. The incident occurred just after 10:00 p.m.
Killaloe OPP officers, with help from the OPP Canine Unit, tracked the scene as the driver fled before police arrived. The driver was located shortly after and charged with failing to remain, failing to report the collision, and driving with open liquor.
The driver was issued three summonses to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Pembroke. The vehicle was towed, and minor injuries were reported.
