It’s training day those who operate CH-146 Griffon helicopters. The Royal Canadian Air Force will fly from Saint-Hubert, Québec to Petawawa to conduct the Basic Tactical Aviation Course at Garrison Petawawa. Officials say that the Basic Tactical Aviation Course aims to develop the leadership and tactical expertise needed to plan and carry out complex aviation missions involving multiple helicopter formations.
The CH-146 Griffon utility tactical-transport helicopter supports the tactical transportation of troops and materiel, surveillance and reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, and search and rescue operations.
