The Renfrew County Real Estate Board says home sales in March represent the highest single month total since summer 2023.
The number of homes sold totalled 127 units in March; an advance of 38% from one year ago.
Home sales were 23.3% below the five-year average and 8.3% below the 10-year average for March- but on a year-to-date basis, home sales totaled 304 units over the first quarter of the year, up sharply by 45.5% over the same timeframe from a year ago.
The average price of homes sold in March 2024 was $492,214, an increase of 21.7% from March 2023.
There were 244 new residential listings in March 2024, a gain of 27.7% from March 2023.
The dollar value of all home sales in March 2024 was $62.5 million, a substantial gain of 68% from the same month a year ago.
Months of inventory numbered 2.9 at the end of March 2024, down from the 3.3 months recorded at the end of March 2023.
