Despite the blast of wintry weather experienced in Renfrew County and beyond and much to the chagrin of some local students, the buses were running this morning.
The roads proved a little too slick, however, for one Renfrew County Bus Lines vehicle, which appears to have slid into the ditch at the corner of Raymond Luhta Crescent and Anderson Road in McNab/Braeside Township.
The incident appeared minor, more details will be provided when they become available.
First responders have been busy since the storm started yesterday, responding to a number of downed power lines, collisions and other incidents.
Hydro customers in some areas are still being affected by outages.
