Renfrew’s new municipal website is more than just a fresh coat of paint, according to the town’s communications coordinator.
Rudy Kadlec says the new Renfrew.ca, which launched this past week, aims to get rid of the headaches residents have experienced in the past by putting frequently requested information and services right on the front page.
The development and design of the recently relaunched website were done by B-CITI Solutions, which has worked with over 70 municipalities and cities across Canada.
Some of the most vital improvements made during the revamp include quick links to and easy-to-access menus for council notes, by-laws, taxes, booking public facilities, directions to landmarks, and more.
Kadlec says their partnership also gives residents access to a new municipal app that the town can add features to as the community grows.
The new website also adds more accurate and up-to-date information for new residents and visitors that was lacking before, such as detailed information and directions to the town’s parks.
Kadlec encourages residents to give the website a test drive and let Town Hall know if they find any bugs, errors, or anything else that appears out of place.
