Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town in the next 48 hours.
The Canadian Adaptive Snowsports Festival is all week at Calabogie Peaks. During this week of adaptive skiing & snowboarding there is ski & snowboard improvement lessons for all levels, race training, camaraderie, fun & games, and other on-snow activities.
The Art Factory opens “Must Be Nice,” a group exhibit featuring 12 talented artists with over 140 works on display this Wednesday, March 20th. The exhibit will be open at their 11 Bridge St. studio Wednesday to Saturdays up until April 20th.
The Shawville area branch of The Parents’ Voice is hosting a Lego Club at the Shawville-Clarendon Library, 356 Rue Main, Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. Loads of fun for everyone at $2 per person!
The Renfrew Legion Ladies Auxiliary present Lyrics Trivia Night, hosted by myFM in the Morning’s Jamie Cybulski, this Thursday at 6:30 p.m.! Registration teams of 6, $10/person. Pre-register by calling Branch office 613-432-6450 or Susan Fleming 613-433-9516.

Renfrew Minor Baseball will begin regular season registration and their Indoor Spring Training sessions soon, and they need your help to make this season as success! Coaches and umpires are wanted, reach out to renfrewmbaseball@gmail.com or look under the registration tab on their website to get started.
In Minor Hockey: this Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m., The Under 11 House League 1 -Renfrew Pro Hockey Tape welcome the Eganville Eagles 1 to the myFM Centre Pad 2. Then, at 6:30 p.m. the Under 13 Rep League – STM BUILDS defend the myFM Centre’s Ice Pad 1 against the Deep River Knights.
On Thursday: The Under 11 House League 2 -Renfrew Junior Wolves host Muskrat 1 on the myFM Centre’s Pad 2 at 6:00 p.m.
And in Jr. A Hockey : The Renfrew Wolves begin Round One of their CCHL playoffs on the road this Friday night, when the play the Rockland Nationals at the Rockland Arena. Listen to the call live on 96.1 myFM starting that evening at 7:30 p.m.
