The Town of Renfrew is looking to empower local community not-for-profits with some extra funding.
Applications are being accepted for their Community Partner Grants until March 31st, with the town offering up to $5,000 for expenses like:
• Fee Waiver/Facility Use
• One-Time Capital Projects
• Organization Support/Operating Grant
• Programming/Special Event
• Sponsorship
To qualify for the Community Partner Grant, applicants must be a not-for-profit operating in the Town of Renfrew. They will also need to show how their organization meets a need in the community, provide financial statements and annual project budgets, and demonstrate financial need for funding.
Each of the applicants will be evaluated by a review team made up of the Mayor, members of Council, the CAO, Treasurer, and the Director of Community Services, with approved grants announced shortly afterward.
Director of Library and Community Services Kelly Thompson says that “the Town of Renfrew is committed to enriching the lives of residents and visitors through cultural and recreational programs and services.”
The 2024 Community Partners Grant Application is available on the Town of Renfrew website.
