UPDATE FRIDAY 12:30 p.m.:
A pair of ATV riders may have been very lucky despite being thrown off their vehicle on Thursday afternoon.
Renfrew OPP say that the two riders flipped their four-wheeler along the Algonquin Trail near Highway 60 in Admaston/Bromley at around 2:00 p.m., falling down a thirty-foot ditch in the process.
Police were joined by paramedic and fire services in locating the duo, who were not trapped but stuck near the bottom of the ditch.
Both would be airlifted to hospital with what police are calling “non-life-threatening, non-life-altering” injuries.
