The next two years will see Greater Madawaska become more connected to the world than ever before.
The Township is excited to let residents know that high-speed internet access is on the way through the Province of Ontario, with Bell expected to have the infrastructure completed by the end of 2025.
Cell services in Greater Madawaska will also be getting a boost through a number of projects by the Eastern Ontario Regional Network, including a series of six local cell towers to gradually go live over the next two years.
Township officials are directing residents to a pair of coverage maps, one from the province showing where the coverage areas will be expanded and another from EORN that will show the location and development of the cell towers.
