Glenn Arthur impacted the lives of everyone in the community- both throughout the thirty-six years he served as its Director of Recreation, but also through his volunteer efforts, as not only spokesperson and fundraiser- but as one who cheerfully rolled up his sleeves for every task.
Perhaps a unique perspective is that of the individual that followed him in the Recreation role, Graeme Ivory.
Arthur’s impact on a young Graeme Ivory began early.
Today’s Recreation Director also sees Glenn Arthur’s influence from the perspective of resident, and now parent.

Glenn Arthur was a cheerful mentor, deep on knowledge and free with advice.
Arthur passed away last Friday- and will be remembered with a public tribute Sunday the 25th at Noon, at the Nick Smith Centre.
