East Region Ontario Provincial Police are urging drivers to be cautious on the roads this morning.
Officers across the region have responded to nearly 50 collisions since 6 p.m., police said in a social media post on Feb. 16 at 8 a.m.
Many of the cars involved have gone into the ditch.
Drive with care this morning, give yourself extra time and following distance and ensure all windows and lights are cleared of snow, say police.
