The long weekend’s fun and games in Ma-te-Way Park mean that there are some things to keep in mind.
The Town of Renfrew will be celebrating its annual Frewfest Winter Carnival in and around the myFM Centre over the entire Family Day Long Weekend.
Community Outreach and Programs Specialist Janyne Fraser says it will have something for everyone to enjoy, including “inflatables, the Zoo Crew is coming with animal stations, and you can enjoy kick-sled races, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a puppet show, Beaver Tails, public skating, a trivia night, bingo, and more.”
While you are enjoying the festivities, both the Renfrew Recreation Centre and Renfrew Public Library will close down on Family Day Monday, February 19th, and reopen the next day.
The myFM Centre’s Recreation Complex will be open for some events over the three days of Frewfest but will also close early on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
