Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town in the next 48 hours.
Renfrew Collegiate Institute hosts a family paint night this Thursday starting at 5:30 p.m. Drop of the little ones or stay and participate with your child, with each of you creating your own painting. Proceeds benefit the Visual Arts Department at RCI. The creative evening will be facilitated by RCI art teacher Natalie Stevens and Raiders arts students.
The Renfrew Public Library hosts Knitwits every Thursday night. Enjoy some conversation and knitting or crocheting. All skill levels are welcome. RPL will have some knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn, and inspirational books available for your use.
Friday, February 16th is Open Mic at the Renfrew Legion Lounge – all skill levels are welcome, and we are open to the public. Stop by and listen to some great local entertainment!
The myFM Centre will host a free Senior & Tots Skate on Friday from 10:00 am to noon. Don’t forget your helmets and skates!

Your Under 11 House League 2 -Renfrew Junior Wolves hit the road on Thursday to play the Pembroke Kings 4 at the PACC. Game time is 6:10 p.m.
The myFM Centre plays host to three playoff games on Friday:
- Under 15 House League 1 -Pirie Insulation plays the Eganville Eagles on Pad 2 at 7:00 p.m.
- Under 18 Rep League 1 -Personalize It plays the Petawawa Patriots on Pad 1 at 7:30 p.m.
- Under 18 House League 2 -B&M Motorsports plays Muskrat 1 on Pad 1 at 9:00 p.m.
At the Jr. A level: The Renfrew Wolves travel to Hawkesbury to play the Hawks this Friday, starting at 7:30 p.m. Listen live on 96.1 myFM.
