Hydro One is reporting a sizable power outage that is currently affecting Arnprior and the surrounding area.
Just a little over 7,000 customers between Arnprior and White Lake have been without power since just before 11:00 a.m. this morning.
It’s one of two major blackouts that Hydro One is dealing with at the moment, as another 5,165 of their customers are facing a similar situation just west of Ottawa, including Galetta, Fitzroy Harbour, and Constance Bay.
Crews are currently investigating, and they estimate that power will be restored at around 1:30 this afternoon in both cases.
