The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Killaloe Detachment has investigated two recent collisions, resulting in charges against the drivers.
On January 29, 2024, a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 60 near Sno-Drifter’s Road led to charges against a 26-year-old Nepean driver for suspended driving and driving without insurance. The driver was issued a court summons, and fortunately, no injuries were reported.
On February 1, 2024, a 21-year-old Petawawa driver is facing charges in connection with a single-vehicle collision. The accused was charged with driving left of centre on a curve on Lake Dore Road. No injuries or towing services were necessary in this incident.
