The myFM Centre is set to host performances, cooking, and activities from around the globe.
The Town of Renfrew will be hosting a free Cultural Exchange event at the myFM Centre on Saturday, March 9th.
They are currently looking for vendors and presenters interested in showing off parts of their international heritage.
Program Specialist Janyne Fraser says they partnered with a local group that is committed to welcoming diversity to the Ottawa Valley.
She adds that both the town and the Local Immigration Partnership- Lanark and Renfrew are eager to put on the event, which Fraser adds could be the perfect chance to share with friends and make lasting memories over the March break.
The event is still in its early stages of planning, meaning that there are plenty of spaces available if you or your local business would like to take part in celebrating our diverse community as a vendor, food kiosk, or volunteer.
Interested people and businesses can begin the process of taking part by filling out their online registration form. You can also send questions to Fraser by calling Town Hall at 613-432-4848, ext. 118, or by emailing jfraser@renfrew.ca.
