Helping out the hospital in Barry’s Bay is eventually going to land somebody a nice chunk of change.
The St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Catch the Ace is going into week 14, with the progressive jackpot now over $22,000 for the lucky ticketholder who finds the ace of spades.
Communications and Fundraising Officer Christine Hudder says the fundraiser helps the hospital keep its equipment up to date.
Hudder says ticket sales can be done at a number of vendors across the community, but also online for the first time ever. Whichever way you want to support the hospital is equally likely to see you take home the big prize.
Fundraisers like Catch the Ace are crucial to ensuring the local hospital can offer residents the best care possible, as Foundation Executive Director Erin Gienow explains to myFM.
The Week 14 draw for Catch the Ace is at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1st. $10 tickets can be bought online through the Hospital Foundation’s website, and they encourage you to keep up to date with the draws as they happen on their social media pages.
