Snowmobile users are more than ready to start ripping it out on the trails, but the winter weather has put a delay on that. Terry Vaudry, Administrator for Snow Country Snowmobile Region says this year is not much different from last winter.
SCSR District 6 has been clearing and grooming their trails for months now to make sure it would be ready for those riders who have been waiting all of winter. Vaudry, tells myFM that it’s not just the riders who have been waiting for the season to start.
There are 14 clubs in the district and there are over 600 active volunteers working year-round to make sure everything is up to code for the season. Vaudry, says they have lots to do to keep the trails maintain for riders to utilize safely.
