A New Year’s surprise will go a long way toward helping Valley Animal Rescue.
The Renfrew Wing Service Club honoured the local animal rescue among other community members at their New Year’s Eve session of bingo, donating a thousand dollars to the cause.
VAR would quickly take to social media, thanking the Wing for their generosity and calling it a “wonderful surprise” as they are attempting to reopen their new animal intake.
It’s the latest in a line of donations made by community members across Renfrew County since they announced that they couldn’t afford to look after any new pets back in November.
