Renfrew will have some new faces handling your next parking infraction.
Following their contract with Municipal Law Enforcement Services ending in 2023, the town has hired two new by-law officers to handle issues like parking infractions, animal control, property standards, and noise complaints in-house.
Director of Fire and Emergency Services, Mike Guest, says adding Joshua Marquardt and Derek Heebink will result in an additional 500 hours of by-law enforcement in Renfrew each year.
He thanks MLES for the services they provided up to this point, adding that by-law concerns can be made to Town Hall for investigation and resolution by calling 613-432-4848 or emailing bylaw@renfrew.ca.
