As the end of 2023 gets closer, make sure you’re counting down the seconds with friends in the community.
The Town of Renfrew’s Frew Year’s Eve celebrations take up most of the day at the myFM Centre this Sunday, December 31st, starting with family-friendly fun at the rink that morning.
The festivities will start with a healthy breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and will be followed by free public skating, a magic show, and a pizza lunch provided by Domino’s.
The town’s programs specialist, Janyne Fraser, says the entire morning is free for all residents, and the only thing you’ll have to worry about is bringing a helmet and skates if you want to make use of the ice pad.
She also says not to miss the Noon Year’s Eve countdown, which will let Renfrew’s young residents ring in 2024 a little early.
The party continues at the myFM Centre that evening, as the town expects to host about a hundred people when the Masquerade Dinner and Dance kicks off at 6:30 p.m.
