At first blush, the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s “Green Gifts” sounds a little like the WWF’s “Adopt A Species” program; there are similarities, except there’s no plush.
Brianne Curry is NCC Communications Coordinator.
The NCC offers you seventeen gift choices in its catalogue- nine species, and eight landscapes.
The NCC Communications Coordinator says your chosen recipient actually receives a package of three items.
Curry says you have the opportunity to order online for the Green Gifts- or make a donation over the phone.
Visit giving.natureconservancy.ca or visit the website.
While Green Gifts is not a Christmas program per se, if you want December 25th delivery, best do your clicking now.
The Nature Conservancy of Canada will use your donation towards its continuing efforts at land conservation across the country.
Again, Visit giving.natureconservancy.ca or check the NCC website.
