The latest report from Renfrew County’s Real Estate Board shows a market that’s still cooling down after four busy years.
84 homes were sold in November, bringing the year-to-date total to 1,334 units sold heading into December.
It’s a substantial drop of 15% against last year’s total home sales and the lowest amount sold through the RCREB’s MLS system since 2018.
Despite that, home buyers do have plenty of choices at the moment.
The 370 active residential listings currently on the market represent a 22% increase compared to last year, and November also saw a small increase in new listings.
However, it’s still quite expensive to live in Renfrew County, with the year-to-date average price for a home currently sitting at $443,837.
