The team behind Renfrew Collegiate Institute’s effort to celebrate top alumni is getting back into the annual habit.
RCI teacher and head of their Wall of Achievement Committee, Adam Noack, says that nominations are once again being considered for the exclusive honour.
He tells myFM that they always look to induct one notable RCI graduate each year.
This year’s inductee is world champion and Paralympic sledge hockey player Lou Mulvihill, whom Noack praises for his perseverance.
The RCI Wall of Achievement is a select group of students who have gone on to make a lasting impact in their post-high school endeavours.
Noack says each of the 14 current inductees can serve as an example for current students looking to leave their mark on the world.
He was also happy to hear that Mulvihill does have plans to visit RCI in the spring for what will be the first time in many years in order to share his enshrinement with family, and he added that RCI is ready to welcome him back.
If you would like to nominate someone for the RCI Wall of Achievement or to see the current inductees, head to the RCI website.
