Our local Junior B Timberwolves are doing something special for Gouldhaven Farm this weekend.
The Renfrew squad will host the Smiths Falls Junior Bears at the myFM Centre this Sunday, December 10th, at 7:00 p.m., and they are hoping for a big crowd to join them in support of the Whitewater Region dairy farm, which was lost to a massive fire last week.
All proceeds from paid attendance above 125 fans will be donated to the Gould family, and a donation jar will be available that night.
The jar will also be set up on Saturday, December 9th, when the Junior A Renfrew Wolves and Smiths Falls Bears square off at 7:30 p.m.
Junior A General Manager and Head Coach Ryan Leonard notes that brothers Jason and Brent Gould run the Timberwolves, and that the organization is hoping to dedicate Sunday night to them and their families after the tragic loss.
