It’s so far, so good for the Town of Renfrew as they start phasing in their new branding.
The town’s new logo, slogan, and framework for its identity on everything from signage to stationary launched earlier this month, including a new promotional video featuring a young mother and her toddler and others visiting local landmarks and businesses which has received hundreds of likes, shares, and positive comments on social media since it debuted.
Town Reeve Peter Emon tells myFM that their opening push for the rebrand has been about tying Renfrew’s identity to good experiences.
He believes that the video, which was part of the new brand package developed alongside Syntax Strategic Marketing, shows Renfrew is doing things differently than past attempts at refreshing the town’s image.
It’s all part of an aggressive approach to attract new residents, businesses, and tourists to the town as they anticipate a boom in economic development with the Highway 417 expansion fast approaching.
Emon says Renfrew residents can expect to see the revamped logo and new signage phased in around town as older material begins to wear out, focusing primarily on the town’s entrances and downtown core first.
