The inevitable came down Sunday November 5th during a community meeting held at Burnstown United Church.
That’s McNab-Braeside Township Mayor Mark MacKenzie, who joins congregates in mourning the loss of what is now the United Church in Burnstown.
He says those in attendance would like to see the building remain open in some other capacity going forward.
The church stands at the intersection of Burnstown and Calabogie Roads in the community.
The Mayor gave his peers the heads up at the November 7th municipal meeting.
