A single car crash in Madawaska Valley required the attention of police, paramedics, and the local fire department over the weekend.
Just after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4th, all three services reported to the crash along Wilowski Road, where the driver of a pickup truck lost control and left the roadway before coming to rest on a culvert.
Firefighters would need to extract the 84-year-old driver from Barry’s Bay from the truck, and they would be sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After their investigation, Killaloe OPP has ticketed the driver for careless driving.
