The Split the Pot online Lottery is half-way through its initial campaign, and there’s a huge participant pool.
That’s Ben Gardner, Executive Director at the Arnprior Regional Health Foundation, who stands in for fundraisers at each of the other twenty participating partners.
Like a traditional 50/50, half of the funds raised are allocated towards participating Ontario Hospital Foundations.
The remaining 50% will be split into 3 groups of winners. 1 winner will receive 60% of the jackpot, 2 winners will split 20% of the jackpot, and 10 winners will split the remaining 20% of the jackpot.
Gardner tells us that right out of the gate last month it was easy to tell the new game would be a big hit.
It builds on everything that makes traditional 50/50s so popular and of course, every ticket purchased helps to improve the lives of patients across the Province.
Ticket bundles are priced at 10 for $10, 40 for $20, 160 for $40 and features a best value pack of 400 tickets for $60.
There are lucrative Early Bird prizes valued at 50 thousand dollars and creating an additional 13 winners.
The Grand Prize draw will be held on December 1st, 2023.
Among host hospital venues for the Split the Pot Lottery are Arnprior Regional Health Foundation, Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation, and foundations connected with Perth and Smith Falls Hospital and Carleton Place & District Memorial.
