An approaching low-pressure system is expected to bring some nasty weather with it starting tonight.
Environment Canada says that the Ottawa Valley could see 5 centimeters of snow and ice pellets beginning Wednesday evening before changing to freezing rain overnight into Thursday morning.
Precipitation will then turn to rain either late in the morning or early in the afternoon on Thursday as temperatures begin to rise.
The mix of snow, ice, and rain could affect your morning commute, and the community is being told to watch for a possible freezing rain warning as we get closer to this evening.
