A winter trip in the family RV or camper van can be challenging, especially when you need to empty the wastewater from a holding tank and then rinse it out.
You now one less spot to do so as of the start of November, as the Town of Renfrew says it’s RV dump station has closed ahead of the winter season.
The free dump site at the Visitor Information Centre parking lot closes down at the end of every October to prevent the pipes from freezing over, and town staff say that you will need to wait until next spring for it to re-open.
