An update on the deadly crash that closed off a section of TV Tower Road in Laurentian Valley yesterday. OPP say that an off-road motorcycle was being driven westbound on the Algonquin Trail when it struck a gated barrier on the trail near TV Tower Road. The driver of the off-road motorcycle was ejected and the motorcycle continued on, coming to rest on TV Tower Road. The driver of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old from Pembroke was pronounced dead at the scene. Shortly after, a northbound vehicle on TV Tower Road struck the abandoned motorcycle on the road. The road was closed for about 8 hours for an investigation.
