Renfrew’s Legion, branch 148 is launching their annual Poppy Campaign as of today. According to Poppy Chair, Arlene Jamieson, total receipts were close to $30,000 last year. Just shy of $7,000 were given to veterans and and other $8,000 was given out in bursaries. Volunteers will be out with poppy boxes starting today and through out the weekend leading up to Remembrance Day.
