A cold and blustery forecast was not enough to turn people away from the Renfrew Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival in Low Square.
Janyne Fraser, the town’s Community Outreach Specialist, tells myFM that more than 1,500 people dropped by Town Hall on Saturday, October 21st, to enjoy what has become a fall tradition in the community.
She says they even entertained some international guests who saw the commotion on their way through town and made an impromptu stop.
If you enjoyed the Renfrew Craft Beer and Food Truck Festival, be sure to thank town staff.
Fraser says the celebration of the local craft brewery scene continues to grow in large part thanks to efforts behind the scenes.
Fraser says ten craft breweries and seven food trucks made the trip to downtown Renfrew for the day-long event, giving locals and tourists a chance to fall in love with brews that they might not find normally at their beer store.
