A 15-year-old youth from Bonnechere Valley Township is facing charges after an incident at a high school in Admaston-Bromley Township.
OPP were called to the school last Wednesday, after school staff reported a threatening incident, possibly involving an edged weapon, between students.
The accused was charged under the Criminal Code with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. No weapon was located or seized.
The name of the youth cannot be released under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Investigators say all public safety threats are taken seriously, and police and school officials continue to work together to support students and staff to ensure a safe learning environment.
