The Town of Renfrew wants to collaborate with you on one of its major ongoing projects.
Town staff are preparing what they are calling a “comprehensive, forward-thinking, and inclusive Parks and Recreation Master Plan that reflects the community’s vibrancy and shared goals.”
Residents will get a chance to meet with the consultants doing the work and offer ideas on Tuesday, October 25th, when the town hosts a public open house at the Visitor Information Centre on Mask Road, starting at 6:00 p.m.
You can also help shape the future of an integral contributor to the culture and growth of the Renfrew community that night by offering your opinion on the town’s Waterfront Master Plan, which will focus on community recreation and visitor attraction in and around the Bonnechere River.
If you miss out, the town says that written comments can be made until November 11th, and an online survey will open up soon. Comments for either Master Plan can be sent to town Environmental Officer Amanda Springer at aspringer@renfrew.ca.
Parks and Recreation Master Plan comments can also be sent to Danielle Lenarcic-Biss, Project Manager for thinc design at dlenarcicbiss@thincdesign.ca, and Waterfront Master Plan comments can be made to Stacey Zonneveld, Landscape Architect for thinc design at szonneveld@thincdesign.ca.
