The Arnprior Braeside McNab Seniors at Home Program has been active in the community for over four decades, with a mission of assisting the vulnerable to stay in their dwellings living self-reliantly, says spokesperson Suzanne Giroux.
You may have thought to yourself, “I’ve seen those white vans with the blue logos- they’re always taking the elderly from place-to-place.”
Although it is proven, both in Canada and elsewhere, that this is among the most cost-effective ways to aid in the delivery of Health Care- and help reduce strain on the Provincial coffers, Ontario remains only a partial-partner in funding the initiative.
Just as ARH has its popular Doctors Dining Duel, Arnprior Braeside McNab Seniors at Home Program is looking to establish a signature fundraising event.
Suzanne Giroux says there’s nothing dowdy about this Friday’s event at the Parish Hall.
The Fall Fest Fashion Gala will offer a variety of simultaneous ways to contribute to the Seniors at Home mission.
Tickets are forty dollars, and there’s a cash bar.

Join friends and neighbours at the Fall Fest Fashion Gala Friday at the St. John Chrysostom Parish Hall.
By being there, you’ll be supporting Seniors at Home’s mandate to help mom and dad- or grandparents maintain their self-reliance.
