Ontario Provincial Police in the Upper Ottawa Valley urge motorist to make road safety a priority this holiday weekend.
For four days over Thanksgiving weekend, starting Friday, OPP in the Valley will be on patrol as part of a national campaign called Operation Impact.
The initiative addresses aggressive, distracted, and impaired driving, as well as ensuring the use of seat belts and the proper installation of child car safety seats.
You’ll see increased OPP presence on the region’s roads to ensure everyone’s safety – drivers, passengers, and all those sharing the road.
