Last week’s crash along Highway 17 near Cobden is getting a closer look by police.
The Upper Ottawa Valley OPP says that they are investigating the two-vehicle incident that involved a school bus and a pickup truck at around 7:40am on Thursday, September 28th.
Their preliminary report shows the bus attempted to get onto the highway at the Perry Hill Road intersection and collided with the truck.
They note that heavy fog was in the area at the time, and the collision would close down a section of Highway 17 to traffic for approximately two hours after the fact.
The driver and two students on the bus were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, while the driver of the truck was unharmed.
