It’s the start of the season for a group of high school seniors coming to Renfrew from near and far for basketball.
Renfrew Prep Basketball tells myFM news that their first home game will pit them against the Brockville Blazers this Saturday, September 30th, at 2:00pm inside the Renfrew Collegiate Institute gymnasium.

The program has been busy over the summer, signing high school players from within the Ottawa Valley and as far out as Saskatchewan and Alberta ahead of the scholastic season getting underway.
Speaking with myFM News previously, founder and Director of Basketball Marek Kopiowski explained that the Renfrew Prep program gives these young players a chance to focus on basketball skills development and training with the collegiate level in mind while also attending high school in the Renfrew area.
